Rosters: Team rosters for Junior, Senior and Major Leagues are determined by a draft of all eligible players. All new players will be rated at tryouts and players returning to league will be evaluated by coaches prior to draft, preferably at end of previous season. All coaches will participate in draft with League Coordinator as facilitator and two members of the board who have no affiliation with particular league. The coordinator and two members of the board will vote to resolve any conflict that coaches cannot agree upon.
· All teams start with one player (their own son/daughter). This will be to determine first pick order only. Coaches with youngest players select first with first selection based on rating if more than one coach has an 8 (Jr. League) or 10 (Sr. League), and so on until each coach has selected a player. Follow guidelines below for remaining draft rounds. If a coach does not have a son/daughter participating, they have first selection but must select from oldest age group.
· Draft will begin with draft of oldest players first and proceed to select all players in each age group.
· Coaches son/daughter will be added in when draft for their age group begins.
· Draft selection will alternate with lowest total getting next pick in draft.
· In case of ties, coaches will draw numbers out of hat to see who goes first.
· brother/sister combinations will be selected and added when draft gets to the appropriate age group
· The last round of draft will only involve as many teams as there are players available. The selection order will remain the same except only the highest rated teams will choose. Example: All 8 teams have selected 11 players and there are three players left. The teams with the three highest totals will select the last three players with the lowest total of the three selecting first etc.
· The League Coordinator with the two board members reserve the right to evaluate teams after selection and recommend trades or redraft to keep teams as even as possible.
